Running digital products, from strategy to execution, behind major sporting events.
Proven on the ATP Tour and Austria's biggest tennis tournament, the Erste Bank Open — built to hold up under real event-day pressure. Whatever the sport.
Strategy that still has to work on match day.
Four ways I typically get involved — usually more than one at once.
Platform Consulting
Selecting, implementing, and optimizing the digital platforms an organization runs on — built to scale, not just to launch.
Hands-on Execution
Managing digital projects end to end, with the stakeholder alignment and attention to detail that makes rollouts land smoothly.
Digital Transformation
Finding where the real opportunities sit, and implementing the process and technology changes that actually move things forward.
Agile Strategy
Building adaptable, data-informed digital strategy for organizations that need to keep pace while things are moving fast.
A couple of wins that speak for themselves.
Two engagements that show the range — global platform, single flagship event.
A unified platform for 20+ tournaments
One scalable digital platform, rolled out across 20+ tournaments in 8 countries on 4 continents.
The problem: tournaments run on wildly different structures, tech, and resources — making a consistent, high-performing digital experience hard to maintain at scale.
The approach: a white-label platform with automated, tournament-specific content, built to minimize organizer effort while staying scalable and fast.
My part: rollout and ongoing development, working directly with organizers on onboarding and workflows, and feeding that feedback into the product roadmap.
Running the digital side of Austria's biggest tennis event
Digital lead across ticketing, event platforms, and fan-facing channels for the Erste Bank Open, Austria's biggest tennis tournament.
The problem: multiple digital touchpoints — ticketing, social, event platforms — needed to feel like one coherent experience for fans, partners, and organizers alike.
The approach: a digital roadmap spanning strategy and execution, aligning internal workflows with what fans actually experience before, during, and after the event.
My part: full ownership of digital infrastructure and event operations for the tournament, end to end.
Where else I've put skin in the game.

Matthäus Vogla
I grew up on a tennis court — my family has run a tennis facility in Vienna for over 20 years, and I took it over and ran it myself until 2025, when we leased it to Padelzone. Long before I touched a line of code, I understood what it takes to keep a sports operation running on a real day, under real pressure.
I started out as an IT consultant, then founded Vogla Management — which is how I ended up building some of the digital products behind the ATP Tour, and running the digital side of the Erste Bank Open, Austria's biggest tennis tournament. Still doing both today, based in Vienna, building my own products on the side and backing ventures I believe in.
